Your details, treated with care.

This notice explains how the Analogy IT website platform handles business accounts, website enquiries, appointment details and optional public-page measurement. Contact info@analogyit.com about privacy or your information.

What we collect

A standard guest draft can be prepared without an account and is held in this browser session. An owner account stores your email, a protected password representation, business details, products, services, opening hours and the photos you choose to upload. Bookings store a name, email, optional phone number and appointment details. Enquiries store your name, email and message. Security records include temporary login sessions, verification links and rate-limit records.

Why we use it

We use these details to operate your account and website, reserve appointment times, deliver requested notifications, respond to enquiries, review launch requests and protect the service. A business receives the bookings and enquiries submitted to its own website. We do not use these forms to subscribe you to marketing.

What becomes public

Guest drafts are not published. Website drafts saved to an account and their photos are private to their signed-in owner. After an approved launch, the business name, website content, products, services, opening hours, displayed contact details and selected photos are public. Customer booking records, private account details and enquiries are not shown on the public website. Only upload images you have permission to use.

Who processes the information

Analogy IT operates the platform. Supabase stores the platform database in Sydney, Australia. Netlify serves the website and runs its server functions; its infrastructure and operational services can process information outside Australia. Resend is the configured email provider once live email is enabled and may process messages overseas. During a labelled review preview, messages are captured without external delivery.

Website payments

When online checkout is available and you choose it, we send Stripe your verified account email, business name and the selected website package. Stripe collects your payment details on its own hosted checkout and manages billing; full card numbers are not sent to this platform. We retain provider customer, checkout, subscription and event references, payment status, paid hosting dates and your accepted terms version to operate your service and reconcile payments. Stripe may process information outside Australia under its privacy policy.

Optional AI-assisted drafts

When AI-assisted setup is available, you choose whether to use it. After your explicit consent, the business name, brief and writing tone you enter in that feature are sent to OpenAI to suggest a design and draft website text. Optional business lookup separately sends your business name, suburb and optional public website address to OpenAI web search to find details on your own business website. Google links stay with your draft and are not sent to OpenAI by lookup. Google Maps content, reviews and photos are not imported. Suggested details and source links appear for your review; lookup itself does not save them. Reviewed descriptions and services can fill your AI brief. Only after you approve the final draft are its wording and selected business name, address, phone and Google links saved to your private website. Opening hours remain a reference for manual entry. Do not include private or sensitive information in the brief. Account credentials, uploaded photos, booking records and enquiries are not sent by this feature. We request that OpenAI does not store the response, but this does not promise zero retention: OpenAI may retain information under its applicable API data policies. Review and correct any draft before choosing to save it. AI setup can be unavailable when its allowance is exhausted or the service is disabled.

Support conversations and buying interest

Instant product answers do not create a support conversation. When you choose human support and agree to share, we store your message and any optional contact details in the Analogy IT support inbox. Only the configured, verified Analogy IT operator can read and reply to the central inbox; other business owners cannot. A private conversation cookie lets this browser access its own messages, and workspace conversations also require the same signed-in account. Access expires after 14 days; expired conversations and messages are removed during requests and the existing five-minute maintenance run. You can delete your own conversation from the chat panel. Do not send passwords, API keys, card details or sensitive records. Buying-interest labels are suggestions based on what you say, not confirmed leads, sales or eligibility decisions. No marketing subscription is created by chat. Generic new-message alerts may be sent to the operator’s verified account email through our existing email provider. With operator consent, browser push services may deliver a generic notification to registered devices. Alerts contain no conversation text or visitor contact details; the operator signs in to read and reply. Repeated alerts are grouped and bounded, and delivery is not guaranteed. Operators can turn email alerts off, remove a device or disable all phone alerts in Support & leads. Device subscription details are stored privately for notification delivery; unused subscriptions expire after 90 days. The installable web app does not cache account pages or messages for offline access.

Optional support AI

If enabled and available, you may separately consent to an AI answer to a general product question. We reduce the question to a supported public topic and send that topic with public product facts to OpenAI. Your original message, chat transcript, contact details, account identifiers, bookings, payments and private website content are not sent. AI can suggest asking a person; it cannot send a support message, agree a quote or publish your website. You choose whether to share with the human support inbox. AI requests ask not to store the response, without promising zero provider retention. Support, business lookup and website drafting share a limited allowance; availability is not guaranteed. Instant product answers remain available if AI is disabled or unavailable.

Optional public website analytics and advertising

On app.analogyit.com’s public homepage and website guides, you can separately choose analytics and advertising measurement. Optional Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics load only after you allow analytics. Analytics measures visits and selected public actions, such as exploring a design or clicking to start a free preview; those clicks are not completed accounts or purchases. We use controlled page addresses and labels, without form text, account names, emails, customer records, private website content or AI briefs. Google can process pseudonymous device/cookie identifiers and usage information outside Australia under its privacy policies. If you also allow advertising, eligible public visits may help create audiences for relevant Analogy IT advertising through linked Google advertising services. Advertising is optional and is not enabled by accepting analytics alone. Choose Measurement settings on a public marketing page to change or withdraw your choice. Withdrawal stops future optional collection; it does not automatically erase information already processed by Google.

Optional setup measurement

At signup you may allow Analogy IT to retain how you found the platform and the first successful completion time of selected setup steps, such as verification, saving a draft, using optional AI, requesting launch and publishing. This optional first-party measurement stays in our platform database; it does not send your private website, AI brief, account details or customer records to Google or Meta. A consented campaign link can carry bounded campaign labels and, only with an advertising choice on the main website, advertising click identifiers. Campaign data is removed after 30 days; optional setup timestamps are removed after 12 months. You can turn this off and clear these optional records from your dashboard. We still retain the account, booking and security records needed to operate the service.

Cookies and security

An essential, secure session cookie keeps hosted owners signed in for up to seven days. The private platform workspace does not include third-party advertising cookies, analytics tags or external font requests. Optional source and setup measurement is handled first-party only, as described above. The separate Analogy IT marketing website has its own analytics and advertising choices. Passwords and session tokens are stored as protected hashes. Access controls separate business records. No online system can promise absolute security.

Keeping, accessing and deleting information

Saved business and customer records remain in the platform until they are removed through an authorised support process. Contact info@analogyit.com to request access, correction, an export or deletion, or to raise a privacy concern. We verify the requester and coordinate with the relevant business; legal recordkeeping duties and backup retention may affect what can be removed and when. Expired sessions and verification links cannot be used.

Before submitting a form

Provide only the details needed for your appointment or enquiry. Do not include payment-card details, passwords or sensitive health information. For the business’s own services, payment or cancellation arrangements, contact that business directly. This notice covers the platform; each business is responsible for its own use of customer information.
