Simple website setup

Build an easy-to-use website for your appointment business

An easy website builder should help you organise the information customers need and make the next action clear. This guide takes an independent shop or appointment business from a short preparation list to a free draft, paid launch and a practical routine for keeping the website useful.

1. Prepare a small, accurate content kit

Gather your business name, a one-sentence explanation of what you do, contact details and the address or area customers need to know. Prepare a logo and photographs you can publish. A clear photo of your real space or work is often more useful to customers than a large collection of unrelated images.

List your real products and prices for a shop catalogue, or your services, prices and appointment durations for a booking website. Note your weekly opening hours and business timezone. Preparing these details together helps keep the website accurate.

2. Check the customer journey before building

Analogy IT suits independent shops with a display catalogue and appointment businesses using one shared calendar. Market has Home, Our shelves, Our story and Visit us pages. Appointment designs have Home, Services, About, Contact and Booking pages. The platform does not provide separate staff calendars, online product checkout or inventory management.

Think through a real customer visit. Shop customers browse products, check opening hours and contact the business about availability. Appointment customers choose a service, see its duration and price, find a time and receive a saved booking confirmation. Customer purchase or appointment payment arrangements are separate from your website subscription and are handled directly with your business.

3. Create a free private preview

Start a standard draft with your business name and details without signing up or entering a card. Google links are optional. Create an account when you want to save the draft, choose your website address and verify your email. You can write your own wording or, after sign-in, verification and consent, use optional AI to suggest a draft and supported design. AI availability is limited, and every suggestion needs your review.

In your account, add your products or services, photographs, opening hours and timezone, then use Save & preview. Market needs at least one real product, a shop address, a public contact route and opening hours; appointment designs need a service menu. Comparing designs does not save a new choice automatically; use the chosen design’s Save design button. Standard personalised previews are free. Premium samples are free to explore, with your own details unlocked through paid access.

4. Review it like a first-time customer

Use Desktop, Tablet and Mobile preview sizes and read every page. Start at Home with no knowledge of your business. Can you identify the products or services, find the location and understand the next step? Ask someone unfamiliar with your work to find a product and contact route, or choose a service and appointment.

  • Remove unclear jargon and repeated introductions.
  • Check prices, appointment durations where relevant, opening hours and timezone.
  • Confirm that contact details and enquiry routes are correct.
  • Check image crops, long headings and mobile navigation.

5. Launch only after reviewing the saved website

Open Package & launch. The price is A$500 launch plus A$39/month hosting: online checkout takes A$539 upfront, then A$39/month until cancelled. No GST is charged. Accept the terms and separately authorise publication of your reviewed saved website before secure Stripe checkout.

Verified payment publishes the complete, unchanged draft at your Analogy IT address. If the draft changed or publication needs attention, use the workspace instructions and Refresh payment status; do not pay again. You can connect an owned domain later through assisted ownership, DNS and HTTPS checks. Checkout does not automatically register a domain.

6. Make small updates customers can rely on

Keep services, prices and hours current. Saved changes update a published website immediately, so preview meaningful edits carefully. Share the public address from your business profiles and customer communications. Check the saved booking confirmation if an email notification is delayed, and keep a direct contact route available.

If the standard workflow no longer fits, Prajwol can personally build a deeper website under a separate quote. Discuss the required pages or integration before buying extra services. A useful website grows around the needs of your customers and the work you can maintain.

Try a standard draft without signing up. Create a free account when you want to save it; premium personalisation requires paid access.
